Individuals with minimal formal training in music and/or vocals are invited to serve the Lord through Ascension's Music Ministry. There are three choirs that serve at three different masses: Saturday English Vigil Mass Choir, Sunday 9 AM English Mass Choir, and Sunday 11 AM Chinese Mass Choir. Music Ministry is looking for vocalists and instrumentalists for the Chinese Mass Choir. Altar Servers
Lectors
As a member of the Lector Ministry, you will receive training and practice. Lectorers serve in the Mass, as well as other liturgical celebrations, by reading the Sacred Scriptures that are assigned that day.

Youth Ministry & Confirmation
The purpose of Youth Ministry is to develop and form Ascension’s youth into Catholic disciples through prayer, catechesis, community, activities, and service. Youth Ministry needs volunteers who are passionate about journeying with teenagers and guiding them by living a faithful Catholic life. Sunday Core Team meetings Aug - May, plus Beginning, Mid, and End of Year R.C.I.A.
By serving in RCIA, you will pass on Catholic teaching to inquirers and catechumen who are preparing for the sacraments of Initiation. If you are looking for a ministry to serve in that focuses on the faith formation of those who are seeking initiation into the Catholic Church. RCIA meets weekly English and Chinese Speakers encouraged Legion of Mary
