The Ascension Chinese Mission Music Ministry serves to build a ministry that allows the congregation to share their God given talents, evangelize, and answer God's call to serve, love and glorify Him through the Liturgy of the Mass.

Elevate the Mass through Music
Whenever we are in good spirits, we sing. In the Bible, David and his people sang with all their strength. "They sang with lute and harp, strings and pipe, cymbals, and trumpet" In Mass, we sing. The choir leads and moves our worshipping spirits together in praising God. Music and song expresses the sacramental presence of God in the assembly. These songs fully open our hearts to genuine prayers, thanksgiving, and praise. At the same time, it is a way for God to lead us to the realm of higher things. It is a sign of God’s love for us and of our love for Him.
