The Financial Committee's mission is the recording of donations and expenses in an accurate and timely manner.  Our vision is to sustain the church's financial operations.
 
The Finance Council's mission is to analyze and plan the expenditure of the church's available funds according to its needs.

Altar Servers
Receive special graces, enhance your experience, and deepen your understanding of the Mass.​​ Any Catholic who has received the sacraments of Baptism and First communion is able to serve as an Altar Server after receiving the proper training.
Bible Studies
Mandarin, Cantonese, & English Bible Study or Bible Sharing available.
Lectors
As a member of the Lector Ministry, you will receive training and practice. Lectors assist in the Mass, as well as other liturgical celebrations, by proclaiming the Sacred Scriptures.

AYAM: Ascension Young Adult Ministry
Join our community of faithful young adults. Currently we range from 18 - 40 years old.

All are welcome! Single. engaged, married, and parents are all welcome to join! Meetings are being established now that we are out of the COVID Pandemic. Please inquire for more information.
Children's Religious Education
The purpose of CCE is to develop and form Ascension’s kids into Catholic disciples through prayer, catechesis, community, activities, and service. CCE needs volunteers who are passionate about journeying with children and guiding them by living a faithful Catholic life.
Youth Ministry & Confirmation
The purpose of Youth Ministry is to develop and form Ascension’s youth into Catholic disciples through prayer, catechesis, community, activities, and service. Youth Ministry needs volunteers who are passionate about journeying with teenagers and guiding them by living a faithful Catholic life.

R.C.I.A.
By serving in RCIA, you will pass on Catholic teaching to inquirers and catechumen who are preparing for the sacraments of Initiation. If you are looking for a ministry to serve in that focuses on the faith formation of those who are seeking initiation into the Catholic Church.

Legion of Mary
Legionaries are under the guidance of a spiritual director named by the pastor. The Legion is, in essence, an extension of the heart and hands of the pastor.​ Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a balanced program of prayer and service.

The IT Committee's mission is to evangelize and spread the faith knowledge to everyone  through the use of technology.
The Maintenance ministry mission is to ensure functioning and longevity of our building and equipment assets.

Music Ministry
​Individuals with minimal formal training in music and/or vocals are invited to serve the Lord through Ascension's Music Ministry. There are three choirs that serve at three different masses: Saturday English Vigil Mass Choir, Sunday 9 AM English Mass Choir, and Sunday 11 AM Chinese Mass Choir.
